Q: I'm a vegetarian. Is there a vegetarian substitute for fish oil? A: Vegetarian sources provide ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid) which is a different omega 3 fatty acid than the DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) found in fish oil.
