How Adalat Reduces Blood Pressure Brand Name examples of Nifedipine include Adalat CC and Procardia XL. Adalat is one of a class of blood pressure medication called Calcium Channel Blockers. Calcium channel blockers block the entry of calcium into the muscle cells of the heart and the arteries.
