For the best effect, when should I use Resperate as compared to my exercise? I walk briskly about every two hours. Would it be best to use Resperate just after the walk, or before, or inbetween? Currently I am using Resperate 4 time per day....

Q: Can high BP cause a high pulse rate? A: Generally speaking, when the heart beats faster, blood pressure goes up. However, when blood vessels expand to accommodate the increase in blood volume leaving the heart, blood pressure does not rise. This is what happens when your heart beats faster because of an activity like exercise. Untreated high blood pressure makes blood vessels stiffer and less able to expand with an increase in heart rate.

How Avapro Reduces Blood Pressure Avapro (irbesartan) is one of a new class of blood pressure medication called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). Angiotensin II is a chemical that causes the muscles surrounding the blood vessels to contract (tighten). This in turn narrows the blood vessels. This narrowing increases the pressure within the blood vessels and can cause high blood pressure (hypertension). Avapro works by blocking the action of angiotensin II. As a result, the blood vessels dilate (relax) and blood pressure is reduced. Other ARB medications include Diovan, Cozaar, Atacand, Micardis, Atacand Plus, and Hyzaar.
